I was born and raised in the Detroit area. I originally came to 955 as an intern right after graduating from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. After my internship I landed a job at a radio station in San Francisco. I was out there for a couple years, but couldn't stay away from Detroit! I came home, got a job here at 955 and the rest is history! I'm an adrenaline junky and am willing to try anything once. I also love sports, and yes I am a Lions fan. Kate Gosselin's New Job Offer

When God closes a door, he opens a window and in Kate Gosselin's case ... that window is a job offer that would involve her hosting her own show in the nude!!!
Gosselin was axed this week from her gig as a blogger for the website CouponCabin.com after the CEO said she was no longer "a good fit" for the company.
But the mother of eight might not be out of work long because everyone's favorite porn company, Vivid Entertainment, wants her to serve as a Naked Host for their new cable division, VividTV.
In an offer letter to Gosselin obtained by TMZ, Vivid honcho Steven Hirsch says the gig (which wouldn't be all-nude all the time) would allow her to have a flexible schedule so she could spend plenty of time with her brood.
Gosselin is at the top of Vivid's list, with Hirsch saying, "We have binders of women who would love the job, but you're definitely our first choice."

Skydiver Jumps From Edge Of Space & Breaks Speed Of Sound
Felix Baumgartner successfully completed his free fall, diving to the Earth's surface from 24 miles up in the air!!!!
Baumgartner at one point fell as fast as Mach 1.24, well above the speed of sound. He did not break the record for longest-lasting free fall, but if the distance holds up to review ... that would be record-setting.
Felix made the jump using only a space suit, helmet and parachute. Before he jumped, he went through a massive checklist while his family watched from the control room in Roswell, New Mexico.
The mission, called Stratos, was sponsored by RedBull and used a helium-filled balloon to carry Felix 24 miles up into the stratosphere (around 128,000 feet) where he made the jump.
Felix was in free-fall for over 4 min and reached speeds of up to 833.9mph
Felix first attempted to launch last Tuesday from Roswell, New Mexico -- but aborted the mission, due to weather conditions.
