DJ David B

Boji, also known as DJ David B, broke his way into the nightclub scene nearly a decade ago after releasing several mix tapes that put him on the map in Detroit. Fan favorites like the Hip-Hop classic, “Eternity,” and his Spring Break-inspired “Acapulco Anthems” have fortified his spot at the forefront of Detroit's music and entertainment industry. David B's creative ingenuity has served as a platform for Detroit’s most formidable productions, including the renowned “Ultra Cruise Festival™ Summer Series” on-board Detroit's largest commercial yacht.

In 2008, Boji opened up for hip-hop star Flo Rida at Acapulco, Mexico, in front of over 4,500 screaming spring breakers. Later that year, he opened up for a sold-out Detroit stadium of over 21,000 fans for “The New Kids On The Block Reunion Tour.” He later joined Channel 955’s Bomb Squad, an exclusive 5-member group of top mix-show DJs that infiltrate the air waves of Metro Detroit. It is at Channel 955 that David B developed his cult-like following as he launched his “Ministry of House” movement. Over the following 3 years, he went on to open up for myriad A-List artists, including Pitbull, David Guetta, Steve Angello of The Swedish House Mafia, Nadia Ali, Black Eyed Peas, Jason DeRulo, Iyaz, Taio Cruz, Big Boi of Outkast, Fabolous, & Monica.

In 2011 he traveled to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic where he opened up for LMFAO and also shared the stage with Deej Tommy Dee from Boston and rocked the first annual “Freedom Music Festival” on the gorgeous Caribbean Beach in front of over 3,000 spring breakers. The ball kept rolling in 2012 as David B traveled to Cancun, Mexico, Nassau, Bahamas, and Panama City Beach, Florida for the official “Ministry of House Tour,” dropping sets at some of the most renowned nightclubs on the planet and opening up for the Manufactured Superstars and EC Twins at the Dayglow Concerts in Panama City Beach, Florida.

You can currently listen, from anywhere in the world, to DJ David B's “Ministry of House” sets, live on Channel 955 (WKQI Detroit) every Saturday from 2-4 a.m. EST, with the iHeartRadio App. His show also streams live on www.channel955.com/djdavidb. Boji has now joined forces with Namin, a fellow Detroit artist, to work relentlessly on a new sound that will change the landscape of House Music as we know it. Heartbeat Synthony is coming…
