Boji (formerly known as DJ David B) broke his way into the nightclub scene in 1999 after releasing several mix tapes that put him on the map in Detroit. In 2008, Boji's career launched into overdrive as he was brought on board Channel 955's Bomb Squad (FM 95.5 WKQI Detroit), an exclusive 4-member group of top mix-show DJs that infiltrate the air waves of Metro Detroit on a weekly basis.
Boji's creative ingenuity has served as a platform for Detroit's most formidable productions. He has played in some of the biggest stadiums Metro Detroit has to offer, including The Palace of Auburn Hills, Joe Louis Arena, and DTE Energy Music Theatre. Boji has also opened up for myriad A-List artists, including Pitbull, David Guetta, Steve Angello of The Swedish House Mafia, Gareth Emery, Krewella, DJ Pauly D, LMFAO, Nadia Ali, Manufactured Superstars, EC Twins, Black Eyed Peas, B.o.B., T.I., Young Jeezey, Jason DeRulo, Iyaz, Taio Cruz, Outkast, Fabolous, and Monica.
Clear Channel Broadcasting launched their internet radio service, iHeartRadio, which served as a launching pad for Boji's national following. Boji then launched a mix show, aptly titled "Ministry of House," and the movement began. He spent the next 5 years playing at many of the top clubs on the planet. From Acapulco and Playa del Camen to Puerto Vallarta and Cancun, our friends south of the border are always game for a late night set of dirty beats with Boji, whose EDM parties have also reached as far as Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Nassau Bahamas, and Panama City Beach, Florida. You can currently listen, from anywhere in the world, to Boji's mix shows, "Elektric Circus" and "Heartbeat Synthony," live on Channel 955 and iHeartRadio every Saturday from 10:00p.m. - 1:00a.m. and 1:00a.m. - 3:00a.m. EST. His show also streams live on www.channel955.com/boji.
In 2012, Boji joined forces with Namin, a fellow Detroit artist, to work relentlessly on a new sound that will change the landscape of House music as we know it. The duo formed a group called Heartbeat Synthony and began producing original music that is on course to making a huge impact on the EDM scene in 2013.
