Pixar Finally Let "Scrat" The Squirrel Get His Acorn After 20 Years

We all got our first introduction to Scrat the Squirrel in the first Ice Age movie, back in 2002. He was a very minor character that audiences ended up falling in love with.

He was absolutely obsessed with acorns, and would frequently risk his life acquire them. The running gag, as he appeared in films throughout the year, is that he would never actually get his acorn, being foiled one way or another by the environment.

Yesterday, the studio that did these animations, decided to finally let Scrat get his acorn, as the studios are closing permanently. Check it out in the final short ever from Blue Sky Studios below.
