Las Vegas Airport Letting People Dump Their Marijuana Before Flying

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, including your marijuana.

Tourists catching a flight out of Sin City can now dump any leftover legal marijuana in metal containers set up at McCarran International Airport. The 10 green bins dubbed "amnesty boxes" prevent TSA agents from finding pot on passengers during security screenings. Marijuana is legal in Nevada but still banned by the U.S. government. The containers that were installed last week are bolted to the ground and designed so marijuana and prescription drugs can only be dropped in, not taken out. But, someone eventually has to empty that bin....which leads me to believe that somewhere in that airport, there's a room where airport employees sit in a circle indulging in someone else's left over pot. Just kidding, there's supposedly a contractor that will initially empty the boxes multiple tines per week....which leads me to believe that somewhere all these "contractors" are sitting in a circle indulging in someone else's left over pot.

You know what they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
